Hey all,

Me again.

I've been looking at Trek America as a viable option for seeing some parts of the country.
Has anyone been on these and ar they any good?
They seem alittle expensive considering the individual prices of said activities/entry into parks etc
But then again travelling with others would help weigh this cost out yes?

Thanks dudes

I did a 21 day trip (the Rocky Mountain High) with Trek America a couple of years ago. I LOVED IT! I was only 19 so it was great to connect with other travellers, but aside from that I just found the whole of the trip absolutely enjoyable and really worthwhile. The guides are really knowledgeable and waaay friendly, they take you to the little places you otherwise wouldn't know about, as well as all the major tourist spots. I found camping a really great way to explore the States, its amazing to be able to open the flap of your tent and watch the sunrise in the desert. Personally, considering everything that is packed in to the trips, I think the prices are reasonable, and the extra optional activites are completely optional - if they're not your kinda thing, or you just don't feel like doing something on the day, thats ok, even if the rest of the group chooses to do it! I'd highly recommend Trek America, if you have any more questions about them PM me if you like

The treks i've been looking at are the "New England Adventure" which is 12days and seems's to have alot going for it: Lake Placid, New hampshire, Cape Cod, Boston, Kayaking, bobsled, mountain biking.
Or the "Freedom Trail" 7 day trek, NY, Bear country, Niagra, boston and back to NY
