Hi all,

I wonder if you can help. My future wife and I have booked our honeymoon in Morocco. Unfortunately, since buying the tickets I have found out that I am severely intolerent to wheat. I've read up on the type of foods you generally get around Morocco and it seems that most of it has wheat in it somewhere (eg cous-cous, breads, pastries).

What I would like to know is how easy it is to get food with rice or potatoes? These are my staple carbohydrates and I kind of rely on them. Will I need to stay in/near the main population centres? We were planning on marrakesh and the areas south of there. I would appreciate any advice, as am a little worried about what I will be able to get.

Thanks in advance,

Phi

Yeah, it's possible - you can eat a lot of fruits , whole cooked vegetables, Meats, rice BUT I would look into some kind of natural enzyme or go to a nutritionist and see if they can help with the wheat problem. I have found that many Dr.'s are full of sh*t on all this allergy stuff. I had a major allergy test done years ago and it was SO OFF (both ways) that it was a joke. No wheat, that means no Pasta in Italy or Baguettes in France - that's killer man, I would try a different aproach myself - there's ALWAYS a different way... Zoom
