Hi all,

If you could help me out here and see what would be best !

We fly into Milan arriving 6.00 in the morning (in Jan), and I was going to book to see the Last Supper if possible. Is there anywhere with lockers to stow our baggage at a central train station in Milan?

Then we would like to head by train towards Cinque Terre in the afternoon, and would like suggestions for a base to perhaps see Cinque Terre, Santa Margherita/Portofino over a few days. What are your thoughts?. Afterwars we head towards Nice along the coast line.

Thank you if you can offer any help!

There is the Souvenir Hotel (they also have a dorm for cheaper) in Monterosso (Cinqe Terre).

Cinque Terre is amazing. I've been there twice. I stayed in Manarola both times and recommend staying there. Monterosso is a big larger and you may like to stay there too. There is a youth hostel as well as many rooms/bed and breakfasts in Manarola. Not a huge selection of places to eat though. You can get a train pass to travel between the villages in Cinque Terre and visit each one. There is also a nice aquarium in Genoa that is worth visiting if you have the time or haven't been to one before. La Spezia is a larger city near Cinque Terre.
