Hello Nightchild:)

Are u sure everything is booked up?
There is a link for booking a number of resorts that somebody posted here before. I dont know which thread it is in but u could do a search.
If u dont have any luck what about sleeping on the beach. I never saw anybody do that on Koh Pha Ngan but maybe if all the accomodation is full it will be tolerated.

I would not worry too much. There are over 150 resorts on the island. Not all of them work with online bookings agencies so there will probably still be a bed to find. However you will probably end up paying a lot for a less nice place but at least you can visit the party.

Next time if you come around the full moon or new years party and you do not want to pay too much and sleep in one of the nicer resorts you better book in advance. It also saves you the hassle from checking different places in the tropical heat.

Enjoy your holiday and have a good party on Phangan.

I'm in Koh Pha Ngan now and some places are fulluy booked but there are still places with vacancies. The prices have gone up though if you want somewhere on Sunrise Beach, e.g. the place where I normally stay was charging 400 Baht per night a couple of weeks ago and is charging 1500 Baht per night now.

If you don't mind staying on Sunset beach though ( a 5-10 minute walk to Sunrise) then you'll still be able to get somewhere cheaper.

Also, there seems to be lots of people leaving and arriving this morning, so even the places that are booked at the moment will have vacancies from time to time between now and New Year.
