Hi Chris,

No reason to be nervous - although I certainly do understand the feeling having travelled on my own also

You can make that nervousness into something exciting - YOU are doing something totally different to your friends. YOU are going to experience so many many things, see many exciting and different places and meet the most amazing array of people.

And I can just about guarantee that you will NOT feel alone for very long. You will meet like minded people very quickly and some of them will possibly become life long friends.

Just always remember - the number one rule is to remain on constant contact with your family and friends. Let them know where you are, where you are intending to travel and with whom you are travelling.

I cannot remember how many families I assisted in "finding" their loved ones - mainly due to the travellers having too good a time and just "forgetting" to remain in contact! LOL

Have fun planning this trip........ and then when you arrive HAVE A BALL!

If you would need someone to talk to - feel free to contact me

With regards

Hey there, I'm also going to Australia in March, in 23 days to be exact! And yea, I'll also be going alone. I'm landing in Sydney then I'm off to Adelaide, I might even have connections to go on a 4x4 ing adventure in the outback. If you're interested in getting to know one another a bit and meeting up that would be cool, I'm also nervous about going alone, mostly because I'm a women though, and that I pretty much get lost all the time. Keep in touch
