So Im 20 Y/O Male from Canada heading out to my first trip - going solo for the most part.

Last 2 weeks in Jan - In Mumbai (Have some friends there)

Feb - Make my way to Digboi, Assam where I volunteer on a farm there for a month, and hopefully get to go see some of the parks around.

March - Make ways to Bagdogra, West Bengal from Assam and Visit Sikkim for up to 10 days, do a tour of some of the area and parks.

need to return to Mumbai by march 14th for flight to bangkok.

March 14th onwards - In Thailand - no set plans, would love to go visit Cambodia

April 30 08 - fly back to Canada from Bangkok.

Now if anyone would like to join any part of that Please feel free to contact me (PM on here should be fine). Meeting for Sikkim or Thailand would be great as since its first time going alone I am sort of nervous and anxious as I could be. I would love to see anything with wildlife or plant habitats. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey buddy, when u r in Sikkim try a trek to the Maenam hill top through the Maenam Wild Life Sanctuary. The trail is 12 KM and starts from Ravangla. You'll definitely like the flowering rhododendrons and other wildflowers. The view of the snow capped Kangchendzonga and Pandim will mesmerize you. You'd be able to see a lot of birds and if lucky you'll even spot a red panda or a himalayan black bear. If you need any more info plz feel free to contact me. I'm a 33 years old man living in Calcutta with my family. My profession is writing a hobby is photography (wildlife). Since I'm an Indian I'm not much aware of the rules about foreigners visiting such places, just have a check from the Indian consulate about areas where you can go and where you can not in Sikkim.

Cheers
