hi Peter,

I had contributed the entire Ladakh page under the Travel Guide__Asia_ India_ladakh section, which was rearranged subsequently and minor changes were made by Sam I am and Peter. My name was appearing under the "History" tab as the creator of the article, but now my name is missing.

I hope my name is still there under the list of contributors for the Ladakh page and if it is missing kindly rectify the anomaly!!!

Hi Arif, the problem is that you posted all that information in the India article and so it had to be copied out. It's important to ensure that content is posted in the best possible spot. I've updated the history of the Ladakh article so that you are credited for the initial content. There may be one or two more like this -- please let me know if so.

Just thought I'd post to say that I earned my first 11 cents today!

I'm just wondering.. how do you post pictures to the Travel guide? I clicked the Photo button but it did not ask for a link for a photo to insert..

You need to find the photoID from the gallery and then input that something like this

It's explained in more detail here

The photoID can be found by clicking on the photo you want to insert. It will bring up a URL something like the one below (I've put the ID in bold)

I know, I know, it could be easier.. but for now, this was the simplest to implement. An easier popup would have trouble handling the close to 200,000 photos in the system at the moment.

Suggestion: Since the money members earn from updating the Wiki will mean very little to the members themselves maybe it would be an idea if TP offer them the opportunity to donate it to a charity. One to help people in the third world maybe.
