I am thinking about going to Cuba in july/august. But I don't know about the weather. Anybody been there in that period.

Yup - it was lovely. Very hot, but bearable. Plus there's a lot less tourists in August. I believe September starts to get iffy with the rain.

I was there and it was really hot,and had a few havy rain showers or thunderstorms.
It is also carnaval in Santiago de Cuba so it could get difficult to get a bus ticket in this days.
Keep also in mind that the hurrican season starts in August/ September.

Been a flight attendant for 4years, so i have virtually been in cuba in most of the months! Would not reccomend august, hurricane season at its peak! and it can seriously disrupt your holiday :( I know that lots of people would take the risk, but trust me, not worth it! Cuba is great most of the year (Nov to May I would say) so if I was you I would try to go some other time!!
