My girlfriend and me will be visiting Paris, and we love to eat. And I wanted to surprise her with a beautiful and romantic fine dining. can you help me find a really nice restaurant where I can bring my girlfriend? and I would also love suggestions of any cuisine made famous in Paris, France.

I'm doing a similar thing next week too :P

I've been given a few suggestions on other forums

www.lesombres-restaurant.com Was a nice suggestion, it has a view of the Eiffel Tower, and apparently it's reasonably priced too.

Why not try the romantic dinner on board the Seine river cruise. I did that once and i must tell u it was so wonderful cruising all along glowing Paris and having traditional dinner. i dont remember the agency through which i had booked but such cruises are easily available in Paris

If you want to have a nice romantic meal that's close to the Louvre and the d'Orsay, I'd recommend the former Hotel d'Orsay restaurant, which is at the Musee d'Orsay. My girlfriend and I dined here for lunch and the food was fantastic and the service is great. Paris Info has information about the restaurant here:
http://en.parisinfo.com/restaurants/3425/restaurant-du-musee-d-orsay?1

Another great alternative is to go to Le Jules Verne, which is a restaurant located in the Eiffel Tower. Last year, Alain Ducasse, a famous French chef, took position as chef of Le Jules Verne. The Paris Info site has more information regarding this restaurant here:
http://en.parisinfo.com/restaurants/78/jules-verne-le-?1

They also have a website here, French only despite having an English link:
http://www.lejulesverne-paris.com/

And here's information about Alain Ducasse:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alain_Ducasse

Reservations are highly recommended for Le Jules Verne.

Hope this helps!
