The best:
I lived in London for a year and worked as a currier for a travel agent. Business people would order flight tickets to go someplace that day and I would deliver the tickets to their hotel or office. I got to roam around London all day, hopping on and off busses and tube trains. It was a cool way to get to see all parts of London.
The worst:
I worked in a kabab shop in a rough part of Dublin. There were customers fighting every night. It was so bad there that the police would not come when we called them. Well, they would come but it took them several hours and all would be over by the time they got there. Then the manager fired me because I wouldnt let him grope me.

I had a job as a paper boy when I was about 13. The guy who was leaving took me around for my first round. All went well until we were walking past an old house. The guy left me on the footpath, went inside the house and set it on fire. It subsequently burnt down.
Fuck some people are weird - he was only about 14.

Best: I'll pick the one I have now! My boss is fantastic, our clients are interesting, our work is fun (generally), and it doesn't have the traditional "check your life at the door" mentality of most ad agencies. It's not all roses, but the good parts make up for the bad.
Worst: I worked for a "school" that offered "courses" by correspondence. It was pathetic and the "students" were essentially financing the VP's impromptu trips to China. Horrible pay, no benefits, iffy business practices. Never, ever apply for a course that advertises with peel-off stickers in ladies' magazines!

Worst: Selling golf course membership door-to-door on Edinburgh housing estates, during world cup 98, with my distinctly English accent.
Best: Probably the one I have now.

Best one was lifeguard at the Landmark Hotel when I was 19. In great shape, tan and new girls were arriving daily. What more could a young guy ask for!?!
