Hi there again,
Anyone got any good reccomendations about good hostels or hotels to stay in Christchurch and Queenstown? There's three of us which I know can be a pain when in hotels, so nothing too cheap and nasty just your usual clean but good fun hostels would be fine.
Any reccomendations much appreciated.
Cheers
Seb

ive stayed at a few in both areas, and for what i payed - all venues have been more than up to standards ...
Christchurch - i crashed a 'Cokers' Hostel - nicely situated on Manchester Street - within a 7 min walk on one straight road (which helps when the beer flows)
your in and amongst the bars in town...
tho i have also stayed at 'Base' which is located bang in the centre (catherdral square) slightly more exspensive, tho there bar facilities are alot better than Cokers and have a better atmosphere!
Queenstown - def Bumbles Hostel ... perfect location with no knarly hills to be tackling to head to and through the main attractions, good facilities, and the kitchen and DVD/TV lounge has an awesome vibe about it!
have fun bro!

base in christchurch--right in cathedral square and has a great bar downstairs (the rest of christchurch seemed kinda dead to be honest).
southern laughter in queenstown--i had SUCH a great time there! nice and cozy hostel, nice people, great location! don't forget to the canyon swing (scary as all hell--f*cking awesome!)
