Some of us just need to ask an emergency question, soak up the knowledge, and move on. That's not unreasonable.

That's not unreasonable, but what everyone here is echo'ing is that the way you do it is unnatural. Considering I've never ever seen the behaviour from any other member on TP but you in over 5 years, I think that says something. I'm accustomed to members asking a question and then moving on, but your questions are never like that and they seem to be endless. You always seem to be in place a asking about it, but then a week later you're on the other side of the world. Another week on and your back in place a. If all of that is true, you'd be a very experienced traveller and posts like this make even less sense.

I've also commented on this at least once or twice in previous threads, as have a few of the other members posting here. When you don't take the time to address those comments, why give you the benefit of the doubt?

I'm struggling to understand what you are using this information for, but I suspect it's something that you are getting paid for/using elsewhere, although I have no proof of this whatsoever. Most likely it's being re-used on other travel sites or some such. In any case, I feel it's fair to let other (newer) members know of previous posting behaviour before they spend a good deal of their time answering you. There's no automated way (yet) of adding a note like this to all your posts (aside from flagging them as spam), so the manual method Sander took seems appropriate in this case and I'm leaving the thread intact.

I'm just a world traveler who likes to ask a lot of questions. Sometimes, it's easier for me to copy, and paste the question instead of seeking out a travel guide. My posting behaviour is a little mechanical, so the notion of unnatural has a little truth to it. But, you're kind of making me out to be some sort of forum monster and I don't think that's fair because it may reduce the number of responses I get to my questions (from certain members).

Having said that, even the smartest traveler will always have questions. It doesn't hurt to increase one's knowledge even when you already have A LOT of it. My questions are endless because travel is endless, and I'm a world traveler (literally).

Again, I am not getting paid to do anything. I hope that is clear.

I'm sorry Sandy, but I just don't buy it. Someone travelling as much as you allegedly do, would post in a very different way. Either that or you spend an incredible amount of time online posting exactly the same stuff on multiple travel forums and never really see any of the places you happen to be in.

You are party right, and mostly wrong.

I post the same stuff on multiple travel sites, and I visit those places too. From the knowledge I gather my visit to those places is always better.

How, and why you are making judgements about me is beyond me.

Well, it's in the forums interest to keep it filled with users and keep good discussions going. I don't know if you've noticed other threads on this forum, but you've had several replies to old threads asking about your behaviour and never once took the time to respond. That annoys all those people that have put hours into helping you as you can read here. To the rest of us here on TP (and judging by responses in all those other travel forums the same goes for a LOT of other people on other forums), it certainly looks like you've got some other project going on that you are using all this data for.

There's more human-ness in your defence posts, Sandy, than in any post where you're looking for info. You're actually taking the time to respond--why couldn't you have done that before?

When you copy/paste ad nauseum and don't bother to reply, people feel taken advantage of. You got a lot of feedback for just about 0 effort, so don't be surprised that no one wants to come out and play anymore.

Another thing: when I google Koko Kamor (name in profile Sandy) I don't get any hit except travellerspoint.

Normally, a name will come up more than once. Unless of course it is a fake name
