Hello! I am from the Philippines & Europe is a long way from home! This is my detailed itinerary:

May 17 - leaving Manila, evening
May 18 - arriving Rome, morning. Check-in hotel (budget:80euros). Enjoy rest of the day.
May 19 - enjoy the day, leave & take late aftn train to Florence (2hrs travel,65euros), check-in hotel (budget:80euros), light dinner
May 20 - enjoy Florence
May 21 - morning go to Pisa. Leave & take late aftn train for Venice (3hrs travel,60euros). Check-in (accomodation free).
May 22 - May26 enjoy Venice.
May 27 - check-out, take the earliest train to Zurich (7hrs travel,190euros). Check-in hotel (80euros). Enjoy evening.
May 28 - enjoy Switzerland
May 29 - check-out, take the earliest train to Paris (6hrs travel,190euros). Check-in hotel (100euros). Enjoy evening.
May 30 - enjoy Paris
June 1 - check-out leave for Manila

1. Is my itinerary doable?
2. How long is the train travel time in each place/country i visit? Rome to Florence, Florence to Venice, Venice to Zurich & Zurich to Paris
3. Can i use the Eurail Pass all the time? If not, what are the trains i'm supposed to use? Can you give me a rough estimate of the train fare?
4. What are the things i shouldn't miss in each place? tourist spots & food
5. How is the weather for say May or June, i'll be there on my honeymoon :)

Our budget not including airfare is 1,700 euros for 2 persons. This includes food, entrance fees, trains, buses & other miscellaneous. Please FEEL FREE TO CORRECT if the prices & time are feasible. Paris & Zurich are just side-trips, it doesn’t matter if we don’t see EVERYTHING. The key is we got to visit France & Switzerland.

Thank you sooo much for all the help!

Sassy

ahh madness here! Pace yourself! these distances are way long - Zurich to Paris is really far, and ur missing the best bits of each country. May I ask Why Zurich? Why not the countryside?

Your itinerary is way too tight. Drop France or Switzerland?
Are they a must?

Why 5 days in Venice? 2 wud be enuff.

1 day for Switzerland and 1 day for Paris, that's what I call a visit to France & Switzerland.

Do yourself a favour and forget it, you'll never be able to see Paris in one day.

For the rest see my message to you.
