Help needed: Melbourne - Jerusalem - Delhi flight plan.

Hi there,

Used to post here before setting off from the UK a couple of years ago on a one way ticket.

Setting off from Melbourne, Australia, I would like to go and visit some friends in Jerusalem but I want to amalgamate that trip into a visit to Northern India. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever done this route before? n.b. I would be returning to Melbourne.

I'm very flexible with dates as it will be sometime next year - long way off yet - and money isnt really an issue in terms of flights. I was kind of hoping to spend around a week in Jerusalem and then 3 or so in India.

If anyone's got any info, advice or anything helpful then please let me know. Travellerspoint has been more than helpful in the past!

I would buy 2 separate tickets: 1. To India from Oz and back. 2. From India I would buy a return ticket to either Tel Aviv or Amman.

Note that you cannot fly with Al-Jazeera from Amman to Mumbai, since they don't let you into Kuwait if you got evidence of a visit to Israel in your passport.
