I'm interested in hearing anyone's experiences while teaching English in a foreign country and any information people might have regarding which countries are easiest to find work in. I understand that south east asia is particularly hungry for native English speakers and oftentimes there is no previous experience required. I'll have a bachelors degreee but no formal teaching experience. Are there any other countries outside of south east asia that would fall into these same perameters? I've looked into Japan and Finland but am curious about any other places.

Many South American/Afriacn countries are easy to find work (alleagedly) without qualifications, although the terms may not be great. SE Asia seems the best, whilst China/Japan/Korea are crying out for teachers, and you can make serious sums of money. Some take you without any experience/Qualifications, just an interview - there are dozens of compnaies you can go through.

Alternately (or as well as), You'll have a much huigher chance of getting work in allot of places if you have a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) qualification. They are relatively cheap and quite quick to get, and give you a huge number of extra options, as well as uping your earning power in many places.

Any suggestions on what companies seem the best or most legit in Japan or in other places for that matter? I'm looking to make enough to reasonably live off of but also enough to begin paying some loans off.
