Hi all,
I'm planning to get myself a pair of noise cancelling headphones as I have a couple of hefty flights coming up - can anyone recommend a pair that I won't need to remortgage my house in order to be able to afford?!
Thanks!

I got myself a set of sure when i was in the states lastime, they were about $150 but are worth it.
Great set of headphone, noise limiting not cancelling therefore no battries required and they achieve pretty much the same end effect.
see noise cancelling v isolation
hope it helps ya,

I know this is an old thread, but I've really found that these headphones are the best for your money. Bose quality (I've tested it with my $150 Bose headphones) with the same level of quiet you'd expect from a $200 pair.
Hope this helps anyone looking for solid headphones
Just in case anyone checks this, just plain earplugs are great. I bought a pair of good headphones, not necessarily 'noise cancelling' for my music, and some ear plugs for anything else. The plugs were a lifesaver. Blocking out plane noise, and especially for sleeping with noisy traffic and ceiling fans they were indespensible they made sure i was well rested a huge number of times.
I personally can't stand non noise-canceling headphones, like earbuds, but that's just me.
These headphones are great, and a good price: http://www.aceluggage.com/menu/products/comfort-zone-noise-reducing-headphones-959.html. This site pretty much has anything that is somehow traveling related.
