Hi Monkey74

It is definitely worth a call to the hostels
HI-Lake Louise 1-403-670-7580
HI-Jasper 1-780-852-3215
HI-Mosquito Creek 1-403-670-7580
HI-Yoho 1-403-670-7580

Just remember that it is a long weekend in Canada Aug 31- Sept 1 (Labour Day) and everything gets booked up very quickly around that weekend as it is the last weekend the kids are out of school.

if you can't get the dates you want in the order you wish, you may also try flipping you itinerary backwards and start with Jasper and drive down to Lake Louise.

If you are not planning to drive you may want to try this service.

Hope this helps a bit
