Hello All,

I am traveling to New York on May 17. Need your advise on few things :

1. I will reach JFK at around 1 PM and I think it will take another hour to move out. First thing I need help on is regarding the left baggage facility which I believe is available at terminal 1 and 4 . Can some one comment on it. Had someone used it before ?.

My plans is to move out of airport -> Catch Airtrain -> Use subway -> times Square . If I am correct this will be around 3 PM when I reach times square. So I have to around 5-6 Hrs for that day. I am planning to visit "Madame Tussuad's" , WTC , Museum of Sex in this time.

Is it possible ....what experts say ?

As far as I had seen the distance WTC is the farmost thing from Times Square.

2. Day 2 I am planning to Catch the City Tour Bus which provides me access to Statue of Liberty and Empire Estate building and few more things ...I really appreciate if someone can provide the best tour operator.

My flight to RDU is at 11 PM from JFK ...Does the above plan makes sense ....

Thanks a ton in advance for ur comments. :)

To my knowledge all left-luggage facilities at JFK (and most other US airports) have closed since the 9/11 disaster for security reasons. All lockers have also been removed.

Don't forget that NYC is a fabulous walker's destination, and Central Park is quite interesting and beautiful. Some of the best shopping is along Fifth Avenue which leads directly to the Park.

Perhaps you enjoy those museums, but they're not really indicative of New York at all. I would recommend the boat tour around Manhattan in lieu of a bus tour. Manhattan is not terribly large, and if you have a good pair of walking shoes with you, why not take a walking tour instead? Suggest you google for a NYC/Manhattan map and download it.
