Does anybody havre any suggestions on transportation from the cancun airport to my resort in playa del carmen (Sandos Playacar Resort). Is this something I can take care of when I arrive or should I have it pre arranged? and how much should I expect to pay? Thanks in advance for the help.

you don't need to arrange anything in advance, go out the airport to the right and ask about ADO buses there are 2 lines one go to Cancun Downtown and the other go to Playa del Carmen, take care about your stuff as usual no special care or something... I think you gonna pay about 10 US Dollars

right where you pick your luggage, just turn and behind you you will find several counters, renting cars, transportation on vans, but there is one it is run by ADO company but the name is RIVIERA MAYA, they are the ones you were just recommended here. The cost for Playa del Carmen is 80 pesos (about 8 dlls).
they will take you to the bus terminal in Playa, from there the taxi is like 3 to 4 dlls to Sandos Playacar.
You dont need to leave the aiport, but it is just they have 2 counters in case you missed the one inside the bands where the luggage is available.

Well, just a little one: If you prefer, pay 50 USD and take a VAN to 4 or 5 people only. Is more expensive but is another way to go.
