I'm traveling from KL to Bangkok vis Malaysian Airline reaching Bangkok at 13.00 hrs. And my next flight from Bangkok to New Delhi is at 17.30 hrs with Jet Airways. Now, I need to know what happens to my check-in luggage which I check-in at KL airport??...How do I ensure that luggage is directly transfered to the Jet Airways flight and I can claim it at the New Delhi Airport??
This is my first time with different airlines on the same journey...any kind of help shall be appreciated.

You picked 2 excellent air carriers. Since Malaysian is a 5* carrier, you could most likely check your bags all the way to New Delhi with them, but to be safe, I would simply check them to BKK, retrieve them at the carousel, and recheck them with Jet for the onward trip.

I would presume that you will have to collect your luggage at BKK and then check in again for your next flight as you are with a different airline. You haven't said how you booked these flights though. If you booked them separately then you will definately have to pick your luggage up at BKK and check it in again. If you booked it through a travel company then I would ask them what to do.
