Hello I'm looking for a place in Peninsula Yucatan to swim with dolphins, I'll be in Playa del Carmen, my travel agency told me about this activity in Xel-ha and Xcaret, somebody can help me with some information about which park offers better environment, activities to do with dolphins of course. I love dolphins and I wish a real contact with them. I want to be long time with them.

I believe Xel-Ha and Xcaret are owned by the same people, so the dolphin experience will probably be similar at both.
I have been to Xel-Ha and had a fantastic time. It is a beautiful place to spend the day. We chose Xel-Ha over Xcaret because it is a little less disney worldish. Xel-Ha is all about having fun in the water. Snorkeling, tubing, jumping off small cliffs, or just lounging around under a thatched umbrella... it's a great time.

To the best of my knowledge, Xcaret and Xel-Ha are not owned by the same company. Dolphin Discovery owns and operates a dolphin swim on Isla Mujeres as well as Garrafon National Park, also on the same island. I recommend you do a swim with dolphins with DD because you can then enjoy the rest of your day sightseeing Isla Mujeres on your own self guided day trip. The only reason I can think of not to do a dolphin swim at an area eco park is because there is little sense in spending your money on the price of admission, only to spend part of it waiting in line to do your swim session.
FYI, for an interesting tour that is only offered during the summer months, I recommend everyone consider doing a swim with whale sharks. There are a lot of tour companies out there, so do a search and you'll find out lots of info. The reason why I recommend this one is because they have their licenses in proper order and even display the number on the details page of their website:

what eric said really makes sense if you only want to swim with dolphins maybe it's to take his idea...
Well, now you have all info about it.
Think the possibilities beside dolphins, 'coz anywhere the dolphins experience is great, think about your activities before and after dolphins, if you want to be all day in contact with water activities XEL-HA, if you want something like a jungle park the choice is XCARET, if you want to be in cancun and more freedom to go to another places, go to DOLPHIN ADVENTURE near from Playa del CARMEN.
If you have TIME and MONEY go to EVERYONE!!! all are different and are GREAT!!!

So you will expect pretty much the same
in all these parks you can just buy the dolphin activity and just take it without the need to pay for the entire day. But honestly if you are thinking a bit of everything even some nap by the sea at a lovely hammock after a Mega Mexican Lovely lunch, just stay at Xel Ha, if you are tying to get a bit of what Mexico tastes and is like then the option for a full day is Xcaret (worth the price...), but if what you are thinking of is just the dolphin experience just head to Dolphin Discovery at Puerto Aventuras.
Isla Mujeres has much and nothing to see, it all depends on what your expectations.
Check all these sites before you decide, you will be surprised!!
