Does anyone know about buses from Madrid to Barcelona?

Flying and trains are a bit expensive. Is a bus the cheapest option?

Thanks!

There's several daily buses leaving from Madrid to Barcelona from the Estación Sur (South Station). Check here for the timetable and prices. I got a one way trip for 27 €. There's a night train for 40 € if you book in advance.
Hope this helps,

Steff

Bus will definitely be the cheapest option (I would have expected a bigger differential than Steff found) but it will be a lot slower journey. You can get all the train information from the Renfe website. You'll have to do more searching for buses as each bus company has their own website and I don't think there's any site that pulls all the information together.

It all depends on how flexible you are with your travel plans... Nowadays flying can be extremely cheap in Europe.
For Spain, just check the following airlines:
[list]

[*] Vueling

[*] Iberia

[*] Air Europa

But on the other hand, you'll see more on a bus.
