Hey, I'd like to know how governments define the 30 day rule. I mean, if I go to Thailand for example and after 30 days I would go to Laos for example and come back to Thailand the day afterwards I reenter the country, is the 30 days rule extended then?

Hey Darq,

For the countries I have travelled to, once you leave the country and then re-enter, a new 30-day permit is applied. :)

Yes, usually it is new.

In the case of Thailand, the 30-day visa is a new one every time you enter. But there's another limit on top of that 30-day visa: you can only stay a total of 90 days within a period of 6 months. You can find more information in this thread: FAQ - Thailand - Visa
