Hi all,

I'm considering going to France in the Summer of 2009 and moving from the North to the South staying primarily on Camp sites. (except for a 2-3 day stay in Paris when i'll be B&Bing it)

I wont be taking a car, i plan to travel on public transport as much as possible.

Anyway, what i'm asking is if anybody knows if this is doable or not basically?

From what i've heard from people who have been and websites the french have a lot of Camp sites all over the country and are usually a very high standard due to Government rulings etc.

I have 8 weeks off Uni and want to spend as little £££ as possible. My girlfriend may be coming with me, not sure yet.

Anybody have any advice??

France has plenty of camp-sites and most of them are really good. If you're going to sleep in a tent you won't have to spend much per night because the only thing you'll have to pay for will be a tent, 1 person and electricity. It's doable, i'm sure.
