Does anybody know what this is?

Basically it means travelling but with the intention of taking in football matches. For example it might mean travelling somewhere like Holland and Germany, or Spain and Portugal (only examples). It could mean somewhere like the Basque Country or Balkans. The period of time could vary from something like a long weekend, to four weeks depending on the itinerary.

This is something I am considering doing later in 2009, early 2010 so it is at least a year away, so plenty of time to organise and save money.

Are there any other football fans who use this forum who would be interested in something like this?

I would say I have an excellent knowledge of football, not just England but throughout Europe, even some knowledge on Eastern European football, and am also interested in the people, history and culture of Europe, and in the evening I enjoy relaxing by visiting clubs and pubs and nightlife.

If this is something that appeals to you the please leave a message and we’ll chat…

This was my dream for a long time. Football tourism would be fun. I might consider it in a year but I don't see myself in Europe any time soon. Hopefully I will have money to go to Europe after I finish college. You know football tickets are so expensive! :D
