Dear friends,

in view of the (rapidly) upcoming trip, some more questions about Thailand...

We are going to Bangkok, Ko Samui and Ko Phan Gan, weren't going to do any treks in the North and therefore didn't get any vaccinations, but... We saw that there is a possibility to do elephant trekking on Ko Samui, in some kind of jungle there... The question is, is it really dangerous to go on a 3-5 hour trek without vaccination?

Thank you again

Your only real threat is Dengue Fever and it is quite prevalent in Thailand at the moment.

But, no vaccination for Dengue Fever.

3-5 hour trek and need vaccination? Howabout you simply use put on mosquito repellent?

If your tetanus booster isn't up-to-date, get it now.

Hep A vaccination would have been a good choice also.
