Hello,
I am going to be staying in the Temple Bar area this weekend and wanted to get some suggestions on where to have a nice Irish Breakfast and a place for lunch.
Also if there are any particularly fun bars in the area at night please tell
Thanks

The area's kind of touristy and overpriced, as far as food goes. I can't remember a single memorable meal, just expensive so-so stuff. Head out a little further, if you can, or ask a local where you could go for something decent.
Regarding a good lunch, I sometimes go to Romano's on Capel Street - a ten-minute walk across the river from Temple Bar. They do a very good two-course meal for €9.99, including fresh pasta if you want it. I think the lunch deal is also at weekends - there are other better value food places in this area.
If you want to get away from tourists and find some real Dubs, then I recommend going south city to Wexford Street where the pints are generally somewhat cheaper than Temple Bar. Again, about a leisurely ten-minute walk from Temple Bar!
For a good pub meal you could get the Luas from Stephen's Green to Milltown station, then walk five mins to the Dropping Well (from the Green, continue walking down the hill in the same direction as the tram is going, then turn right at the T junction, and you will see the pub after a few pace's walk - the only building in the area). It has been a pub for a long time, and situated beside the River Dodder. You will meet locals, and can eat there (main courses from €9-13 I think). The food and pints are very good, and the staff friendly. The last Luas goes back to down shortly after closing; it's only 12 minutes back into town!
