Hi everyone :)

Im currently in South America and are going to South Africa in the middle of may. I have a flight there on may 2nd, bt am going tio postphone this one a couple of weeks or so.

I was meeting a friend in SA, but due to difficult work-market back home, he unfortunately cant come. So noe I find myself in search of a travelling companion, or someone I can join, especially to the Kruger. I havent booked a safari yet, and to be honest I havnt got a clue on where to start.., but Ill figure it out.. It seems to be that the normal thing to do it go by urself in a car. yeah, Im a tuff girl, but I dont think im going to go by car solo in the kruger! So another person or a group would be very nice :)

A little about myself. 28 year old female from Norway. Pretty normal in most ways :) Good fun and responsible :)

Send me a lien if it sounds interessting, or maybe even if u have any advice for me regarding SA og especiallt kruger :)

Best regards

Kat :)

Just a quick line.I was in Kruger last year and to be honest, unless you book into one of the concession(private) camps, which cost a heap, you really need a a car there.Whether you're with someone or not, driving is very easy in Kruger,no problem at all.You should have a look at,which is the SA national parks site with online booking of accomodation etc.Get back to me if you want any more detailed info

Hi Katrine
i`m planning on backpacking around SA, possibly namibia & botswana too. i don`t have a time frame yet, but i suspect i`ll be out there for longer than 6 months. i`m thinking of starting in mozambique, then the zululand game reserves (Ndumo, Tembe, Kosi & Mkuzi). after that the drakensberg mountains (overnighting in caves), transkei wildcoast and the amatolas.... following all that i would like to head off to namibia thru namaqualand for the flowers & bushmanland.... possibly botswana after that

as i said nothing is set in stone yet, i would like to have plenty of time to explore all the lil surprises on the way! so no strict timetable.

if you`re interested in a chat i`d love to hear from you. i realise you may not be able to commit for all of this but you might fancy some of it.
take care
