I am a UK citizen with a record for forgery,I photo copied some bank notes and tryed to spend two of them got caught on camera,a really dumb thing I did,I got fined €2000 with a 3 year suspended sentance,no other record.will this stop me from getting a holiday visa to OZ?

You really should try to get some advice from a professional Australian immigration lawyer.
I think you will actually be OK but you must be truthful and declare all your details. If you get caught lying, you'll be in big trouble.
I found this on the internet that I thought my be of use to you. Reading between the lines, I don't think you cause a huge threat to Australia so it should go through OK.
You may want to get some help filling in your form though so that it is worded in a way that will get through the system.

Er, I think it is obvious that the OP is (another) spoof post and the mods should delete this thread.
Mind you, it wouldn't surprise me that anyone who spells tryed and sentance would get caught for forgery; with a two thousand Euro fine for a British citizen, hmmm.
What's a 'spoof' post? I've seen most scams come by on TP, but can't see how this one could be used against anyone here or the site?
akirar, to answer your question, maybe. You need to fill out the forms from the Australian embassy and hope. You'll also go in the pile 'needs to be manually checked', so make sure you leave at least 4 months to get your visa! You'll need a few signed papers from the police etc. too I believe.
