Me and my girlfriend are goingon a rtw trip in January - taking in Oz, NZ, Fiji, LA and NY. My girlfriends birthday is coming up in December and ive been trying to think of some trip/activity or something to book for her in one of the countries we will be visiting. Theres so much to choose from so i was wondering if any one could give me advise on whats good and whats not.I was looking for something around the 250-350 euros mark. Thanks Ronan

IF you're going to be in Sydney, you could book a trip for two to Hunter Valley (wine tasting weekend) or to the Blue Mountains. There are loads of packages to choose from, and they're both things you should porbably do when you're here anyway!
Other than that a diving course up the coast would be a lovely present!
If you're really ipod/MP3 player. Really the best thing you can bring with you travelling!

You can do the bridge climb in Sydney, where you climb the harbour bridge. This is very popular with both old and young people, and you can do it at various times of day i.e. they have twighlight climbs, nightclimbs, etc.

Another excellent idea is a seaplane from Rose bay in Sydney to Cottage Point where there's an excellent restaurant. The plane goes over Sydney harbour, then heads up the coast over the northern beaches.

hi, if you want to make it a romantic night you could take her to the artichoke restaurant in manly, its opposite the post office, only sits about 10 people and the menu isn't massive but the food is brill and if you go on a friday they have a jazz band playing, it really is a lovely place.
