Oh- this one is easy:

-The words "NO/Don't want it!" in every language.
-A sarong! (Useful as a towel, blanket, headscarf, privacy sheet, improptu sack, twisted into a rope, pack cover, sun shade, skirt, dress, you name it!)
-Most importantly, a sense of humor
