If you are a party guy like me then be sure to take time to visit Pattaya in Thailand... one of my favorite red district of the country... if you like sight seeings of some really goldy stuffs, go to the Grand Palace... they charge the tourists but not the local, when we went there, we looked like Thailanders but we paid for the ticket just to be sure..

I've come up with a rough itinery for my trip

Bangkok - 3 nights
Kanchanaburi - 2 nights
Ayutthaya- 1 night
Sukothai- 1 night
Chiang Mai, and Pai - 7 nights
Fly to Luang Prabang, Laos - 1 night
Fly to Hanoi - 3 nights
Sapa - 2 nights
Halong Bay - 3 nights
Hue - 1 night
Hoi An - 2 nights
Nha trang or Mui Ne - 2 nights
HCMC - 3 nights
Can Tho - 2 nights
Phnom Penh - 3 nights
Angkor Wat - 4 nights
Bangkok- 0-1 night
Southern thailand, not sure where yet though, - 14 days.

so give or take a few days that works out 60 nights in south-east asia. I'm planning on doing it pretty cheaply staying in budget locations and eating from street stalls with a few more expensive ventures including hill trekking, kayaking halong bay, and snorkleing or diving. what sort of budget do people think is reasonable for a trip like this? according to lonelyplanets pricings this trip can be done on under £1500 is that reasonable?
