Hi there I will be travelling to the islands mentioned above in April 2010 and im wondering if anyone can recommend some good a/c accomodation in any of these islands, my budget would roughly be about 1500thb for a room sharing 2 people. Is it possible to get good accommodation in theses island for around that price for 2 ppl? Any help would be very much appreciated.

If you are going to Phi Phi island a friend recomends Garden Hill Bungalows:

"On Phi Phi i would also recomend a place to stay called Garden Hill Bungalows - they are a little bit out the way but still only a 10 min walk for the main bit but they are cheap, really nice, good food, air con! we loved it there!"

Over and out!

Take a look at the Ibis Hotel in Ko Samui, it's only opened in the last year and is excellent value for money in a good location on a nice beach and within 15minutes of Chaweng, prices are approx £30 per night per room.

on koh tanote you absolutely have to spend a few nights in the romantic tanote bay, you can get a gorgeous double room for 600bht per night and if you swim out the the huge rock in the bay and look down with snorkel mask you can see 100's of harmless black tip sharks far out in the open water
get a taxi to tanote bay 400-600bht we walked through the jungle it took 6 hours haha i dont reccomend it but it was fun

Samui has loads of accommodation, especially along Chaweng beach. You should have no problem finding a place at that price.

check out kohsamui.org and .com for plenty of options.
