Hello!
Does anyone know of good places to hike around Richmond or near the location in this time of the year?
I'm very much a beginner but I plan on doing more of this especially during Summer, and I've been doing 1-2 hour walks everyday for about 5 months now. Sometimes I have a backpack weighing approximately 30-35 pounds.
Any tips would be appreciated

The obvious choice is the West Dyke Trail but Here They All Are!

Sam is right about the West Dyke Trail.
I also like to visit the Iona Beach Regional Park. The 4 km jetty walk provides some nice views. Dress warm.
