I´ll be heading to La Paz in the next week and plan to spend around 6 weeks in Bolivia altogether, having already done the salt flat tour by this stage. So I would appreciate some advice on which city would be the best to do say a 2 week spanish course and how much would it cost approx?

Hiya,

I spent a few years working in Bolivia (2006-2008 - in Rurre) but brushed up on my spanish at the very beginning in Sucre. Sucre's a lovely town, really pretty and has some good places to drink and eat.

I can't remember the name of the spanish school I went to, but I think there are a few there anyway. My girlfriend learned from scratch at the same school as me and said they were excellent.

I'd suggest getting a bus from La Paz to Sucre and looking up the schools in a guide book or such.

Also, if you do get to Sucre, go to a saltena restaurant called Los Abuelos. Genuinely the best saltenas in the world (quails eggs, olives - the lot!)

Hit me back if you need any more help
