next week 29/1/10 i wan go hat yai from kl .i will go until 31/1/10 .
i need by bus or fligh? where can i get the cheaper fligh? air-asia is sold out ..
i wan save the time going there.take bus is need take alot of time.
drive car go, i dun know the way.

Kuala Lumpur to Hatyai by flight?? I think there's no flight on Air Asia to Hatyai from Kuala Lumpur. You can either take bus or train. Bus is slightly faster and cheaper than train. If you drive, you just follow the signboard or on your GPS if you have one.
I have taken both from KL to Hat Yai. Bus is faster, cheaper, easier to book. Train is safer. Your choice.
check airasia, tigerairways and other low budget the price is the same like taking bus or train and you could save time.
Normally bus is safer than train.
I would recommend the Senandung Malam train from KL - it's an overnight sleeper that's clean and comfy. The bus is a cheaper and quicker alternative, but say your Hail Marys...

Just checked the site, rates are starting from RM89 (incl. taxes). Mmm, not bad for your wallet, but what about the environment, it's only 280 miles...
