Free Wifi in UK airports?

Hi!

Can any one confirm or deny availability of free Wifi in Gatwick and Heathrow airports?
(I dont have anything like crown club points to go into any of the swanky high roller lounges, so I'm asking about public spaces...)

I've never been able to find any for free at either.... it's sad really Annoys the heck out of me every time too...

I know it's true coz' i don't know if it is in the news or maybe I've read the article on the internet last year that Heathrow Airport ONLY have a free wi-fi but I will confirm it out later.

Been in UK few weeks ago but couldn't find any free WiFi. At least not in Stansted.

The only London airport which offers free wifi in London City.
