Does anyone have any vital activites/recommendations to take part in, between Melbourne and Cairns? Apart from the obvious Whitsunday's and Fraser Island?
Cheers in advance

I'd recommend:
- Sydney for a couple of days
- Blue Mountains for a day trip
- Nelson bay
- Byron Bay for a couple of days
- Fraser Island for a few days
- Mackay (hiking and swimming in Eungella National Park)
- Airlie Beach (access to the Whitsundays) for a few days
- Cairns for access to Cape Tribulation, the Atherton Tablelands, snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and Mission Beach
skydive at mission beach
Cheers for the recommendations guys? So what will I get out of these experiences?
Anybody?
Byron Bay if you want some real bohemian culture. The Gold Coast if you like theme parks. I don't particularly like Brisbane myself though, so I wouldn't recommend stopping there lol
Yep, Byron Bay and surrounding areas, Noosa Heads in Queensland.
Hi nel.
Guess it depends on what floats your boat.
I found Lennox Head nice, if you like hand gliding/para gliding seems to be the place where the mad buggers
jump off cliffs.
Plenty to see in the cairns area too.
Garry
Ok cheers for that gary
