To get to Beijing you can pick up some pretty cheap flights. I'm flying to Beijing in July with Austrian airlines fro £350 rather than £1000 that air china were offering, also aeroflot (russian airline) provide really cheap flights!

Hope this helps :)

Hey, this is my first post since returning from my tour to China/HK.

In September 09, I booked a return ticket from Birmingham to Beijing and flying back from HK to Birmingham for February 2010. I stayed for three and half weeks! It cost me the grand total of approx £395 from and flew with Air France. It encompasses a stop-over for 3-4 hours in Paris before the onward journey. I was really impressed with the flight and service. I would highly recommend Air France. As a Muslim, they also had halal food available.

Just before flying out, I conducted a fictitious search for the same dates. The price came back as approx £800.

If you have your dates in mind then book early.
Regards, Mohson

What is the best airline to use for this and are there any deals offers like the RTW tickets avaliable.
I will be flying from UK (London) and would like to start in Beijing and return to the UK from Guangzhou.
any help is greatly appreciated.

To book flights within China, check out CTrip or ELong, which are the 2 major booking engines and shows you all the available flights from different airlines and prices
