Recommendations for Manhattan Hotels that range $150-200

Friend is visiting but I'm not sure what to recommend. I only know of the more expensive ones because of the lounges etc.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for that! Though I'd still love to hear some personal recommendations.

The prices seem pretty cheap compared to other websites. I guess you get deals with these hotels?

I just spent 3 nights at the Travel Inn on 42nd street at the corner of 10ave,Clean rooms,friendly staff,onsite free parking,nice Deli restaurant next to the front desk,10 minute walk to Times Square,i paid $200 per night but i'm sure rates could be had for cheaper by going to some online discount sites.

Check university residence. Some have vacancy in Summer for cheap rates.
