Lesse -
Job 1 - Day Job
Art Director for an advertising agency in Phnom Penh Cambodia. Pretty fun - changing very rapidly, get to travel around a bit, shoot tv commercials (which actually can be a real pain in the ass) along with a few other perks. Downside would be the clients here are probably the most conservative on earth - and too much red and gold.
Job 2 - Night Job
Teaching capoeria to a mixed expat-local group. Really good fun. Only problem is I don't speak street khmer, so the kids are always looking at me like 'what did he say???'
Job 3 - Non-stop Job
Running www.urbanlowdown.com. Long, hard slog, but well worth the effort.

I work bank hols and well almost everyday, except the one day off a week! supprise i find time for a socialife!!
anyhow-we work to live and NOT live to work, right...

Quite often when you have the money, you don't have the time ... to travel. And vice versa.

Quoting tway
5 months?
20 days?
Academia has its benefits, especially if you're well organised. I've just been handing in teaching stuff and course results to various departments today. This is Week 18 of the semester. Other subjects will have their final exams in Week 20.
I'll disappear during Week 19 (study week), and resurface in Week 20 to collect my salary for December & January.
This morning, I bought a 45 day open return ticket to Bangkok, arriving 9th January 2005. Will look at cheap return flights to The Philippines once in Bangkok.
The next semester begins on 28th February ... just in time to collect my salary for February.

Hi All
I'm working as a Computer Network Specialist (Wide Area Networking/ Security) for a one of the big global companys in sweden.
A lot of worktravel recently, but most often not that much.
I'm enjoying the standard swedish vacation 5weeks [By law], maybe more if you save overtime as time instead of cashing out ;-).
Still miss my old work on Scandinavian Airlines, so cheap tickets with industri discount :-( will never be available again.
Take care
