Hey there,
I think its a great itinerary personally. Not to brag but of the places on your list i've been to
Honolulu
Sydney (Australia)
Hong Kong (China)
Bankok (Thailand)
Singapore
New Delhi (India)
Cairo (Egypt)
Paris (France)
Reykjavik (iceland)
With cities you can see most of it in a day. Personally i wouldnt say you needed long in Singapore, Cairo or Reykjavik as everything close enough to the centre.
I do have a few tips tho;
I flew to New Delhi when I went to India and only had 6 days there but did the golden triangle and travelled north to the golden temple in that time all by going directly to the tourist office when i landed telling them where i wanted to go and what by budget was and they arranged train tickets, cars, hotels etc for me.
Also from Paris it's just a short train journey to Giverny which is where the Monet Gardens (google it) and it's well worth the visit you dont need more than 2 hours there as its a very small village but such an iconic place.
Sorry to ramble on, hope you this helps tho.

Over 10 days in each?? Looks fine to me. Plus Reykjavik only needs a week, taking in the few sights to see on the island. Fiji wont need ten days either.
Sounds well planned and lotsa fun.

thanks to you both.
yes we dont intend to stay 10 days in all places. as you said some cities will be require much less. then we can add days to places that require more like new zealand. great tip about delhi and the tourist office. the golden triangle sounds great.
we were also thinking of maybe eliminating hawaii and fiji for another time and go straight to new zealand. which would add more time for the rest of the locations.
