I think the world needs to impose heavy sanctions against Israel at this point in time, and the USA needs to immediately cease all aid to that nation. I've had it up to here, personally. Read the latest from the Voice of America, but there's much more info at the BBC.

Personally, I think the billions in foreign aid we Americans have been giving to Tel Aviv should now go to Gaza.

The problem is not to have sanctions against Israel, but the way to impose them. There are still about 30 sanctions of the UN and the security council that Israel donĀ“t comply with.

Hiya, as an Aussie I like to blame the British, because they are usually responsible for most of our ills throughout history. So in this case I sight the failing of the British to enact the 1948 British Mandate for Palestine. In terms of foreign aid, the manipulation of countries through this aid has become an increasing problem and should be looked at more seriously in the future. At the end of the day, those that make the bed, must be prepared to lay in it!

Personally I blame the Americans for funding Israeli terrorism and underhandedly blocking any form of Palestinian defence.

Wotthefiqh, I thought that's why they sent us to Australia in the first place! lol
Mim, while there may be some elements of truth to that, I still like to blame the Poms... lol

This becoming very bitter and personal, isn't it.

bitter and personal

Article 301 is an article of the Turkish Penal Code making it illegal to insult Turkey, the Turkish ethnicity, or Turkish government institutions.
The original version of the article made it a crime to "insult Turkishness", whatever the hell that means?

Did I bitterly and personally insult your Britishness in Post # 7
