Can anyone recommend a centrally located hostel in Sevilla? Security and convenience to major sights are most important factors I'm considering.

This is my first post on this site.

Try using www.hostel.com they have a listing of every Hostel there is almost anywhere in the world.

Or you could use the accommodation listings right here - the same hostels that can be booked on hostels.com can be booked here as well. Hostels.com does list a couple of other hostels in Seville though, which may help you research, but you can't book those online. Another great placed to find ALL the accommodation in Seville is the official accommodation guides that can be downloaded at http://www.okspain.org/accommodations/separatas.asp

We used that extensively to plan our trip to Spain earlier this year and chose a pretty nice budget hotel in Seville called Murillo, which was right in the center. There would definitely be cheaper places to stay though, particularly ones with dorms. I'm sure you already plan to, but be sure to visit the Real Alcazar while you're there - it was pretty much the most fantastic experience we had during our two week trip to Spain! :)

nice! Sevilla is so cool!
i was there this summer VERY HOT! I found dorm style hostels are rare in Southern Spain so i was forced to stayin in YHA hostels. Avoid the one YHA in Seville. Its secure and affordable but its no way near the center. 15 min bus ride to get to the center of town. hope this helps.
