I'm originally from a hot country (Australia), so cold weather has its own uniqueness to me ...

definitely somewhere where you don't have to suffer from frost bites and carry umbrella with you all the time.

I like tropical climat - even when it rains it's still hot

A nice hot climate! I always say that a mistake must have been made when I was born in Britain - I HATE British weather, it really doesn't suit me at all, I much prefer hot, weather, preferably above 30 degrees. As MASSAGEUK says, at least in a tropical climate when it rains it's still warm! no such luck in nasty weather Britain!

I hate the auful UK weather too! lets all emigrate to Australia (the north though, just to make sure!)

It is so depressing here in the winter! All I seem to do is daydream about traveling the world! - the hot places anyway!

Love the beach, so definately hot weather! Love to ski too, but I think snow only belongs on a ski slope and the perfect skiing weather is short sleaves, not coat!

Am not a fan of Very Hot (especially humid as i always sweat like a pig, even in normal temperatures), but mid high 20's or a bit above are fine. Love really cold weather as well, and am quite happy down in -30odd, although after a few months like a change! I actually like rain as well, and honest to god do miss British style crappy rain on occassions

Worst for me is between about -2 and +10, or lots of wind (like this week. Holy Cow )

I don't know what suits me best as I haven't experienced them all ( but give me some time and I'll see what I can do !)... I think somewhere in the middle, a bit warmer then Irelands summers but not too warm - I'd have no energy to do anything if it was in the 40's.....

UK summers are the best, not too cold and not too hot, just right

Not too sure about the rain we get all the time though, but I guess that without the cold and rain we probably won't appreciate the sunshine as much...

I had a teacher from South Africa saying that he looks forward to it raining in Manchester (which is more or less every other day), because he rarely sees the rain when he was growing up.

I'm sure most people will say that the hot weather is nice, but trust me, after last years holiday in Egypt with daytime temps of ~45c and night time temps of ~30c it'll put you off wanting hot weather for a while!

I like the 4 seasons, but I don't like the loooong Canadian winters (2 or 3 month maximum would be enought!)... I don't like the rainy winters either (France or Buenos-Aires...) I like summer but not too suffocating... And I like tropical plants and flowers! ;)

The perfect weather would be, er, a tropical climate in the mountains? Or a hot climate close to the sea? (so it's not suffocating, because of the nice little wind....)???

Winter was fun at one time, but now it means shoveling snow and wearing way too many clothes. I like the warmer climates. When it's warm and it rains, I take the Jamaican outlook, "It's just liquid sunshine, Mon!"
