Today with smart phones, Google Maps and Google Translate no one should be afraid to go out alone. You almost have to work at it to get completely lost. Travel is much easier than it used to be. I'm thinking of making reservations online, getting transportation instructions online, communicating with nearly anyone under the age of 30 because the Internet has made English so common that if you speak even a little of it, you can find help nearly anyplace. Yes, there can be problems, but there are more options to take care of them. Fortunately people all over the world are very nice . . .
