Hi guys...me again!! I often feel I am posting something to this forum that has already been asked...but I cannot find a search forum facility? Is there one? Also mos importantly for me, are our photos published here automatically copyrighted?
Thanks
Keep up the GREAT job and excellent response

The search is in the upper right corner, in the navigation bar (it searches the forums while you're on the forums, the travel guide while you're on the travel guide, and so on).
Copyright law states that you own copyright on whatever you create from the moment you create it. So, the copyright to your photos belongs to you, and exists as soon as you've taken the photo. Uploading them to travellerspoint gives travellerspoint a non-exclusive right to use the photos (but not to sell them on; see the terms and conditions from the footer for exact details), which basically means that the site can feature your photos and show them in the travel guide. Copyright of the photos remains with you.
Travellerspoint doesn't "do" much of anything to make it clear that the copyright of the photos lies with you, other than showing your (nick)name as the photograper with each photo and stating that copyright belongs with the photographer in the terms and conditions, as well as in the FAQ - but it's expected that people know the law and so know that any photo which hasn't explicitly been put into the public domain is copyrighted.
