Looking for fello solo travellers

Hey!!

Being a young female i am a bit nervous of going it alone, i am planning on travelling to either New Zealand or Australia around May2011. im hoping to get a WHV so i can find work when i first get there to earn some extra pennies to put towards my adventures, once i have enough money id like to travel the east coast of oz, New Zealand (or the other way round) and then onto Fiji and maybe Thailand. I plan to travel for around 4 months.

Im open to meeting any other solo travelers to share the experience with!

hey im rob i have just booked my flights to thiland for may and then on to oz in the start of june. dont think because ur female that makes u nervous i am also nervous ov going it alone lol im realy excited but aprihensive at the same time! what are you thinking for work? and where in australia are you thinking of going?

Hey, we all get a little nervous of the unknown, female or male. I'd say try not to worry about it, in my oz experience your never alone for long, plenty of people in the same boat and making friends and travel buddies is really easy.

I'm heading into Wellington end of april, keep me updated where you decide to go and maybe we can grab a beer together

Hey Guys, I'm headin to KL in May, flying up to BKK then back to KL for the start of June to head to Sydney. I'm also a female solo traveller and as the departure date gets nearer I'm getting more nervous and excited hoping to get started with some fruit picking work and take it from there. It'd be great to meet people who are in the same boat!!

hey i'm excited but nervous too as a female lone traveler. i'm also traveling to Oz headin to asia first in may for about 5weeks then on melbourne but planning on traveling up the coast (to some warmer weather) eventually up to carins. if anyone fancy meeting up get in touch

I'm a 25/m traveling to oz in April and am keen to meet people as i'm abit nervous of traveling alone. I plan to visit most places on the east coast and work to top up my monies. I'll be starting in Sydney if anyone has any suggestions of good sociable hostels to stay please let me know.
