I was wondering how easy it is for backpackers to get extra work in Bollywood and where should someone 'hang out' to get spotted?

drhammy.. for how long are you planning to stay. it all depends on that.. coz you cant get anything if you just come in for a week. maybe if you are lucky you might. but mumbai is the hub for bollywood. if you plan to stay for a while in mumbai. i can help you out.
i heard that most people get randomly picked up in mumbai. they usually get like 500 rupees a day, plus transport and some meal. these opportunities are usually occasional and temporary.
i was told that it's interesting for one day, otherwise boring and tiring and you don't always get the nicest treatment.
probably fun to try.

cool, I have no fixed agenda and time isn't a massive issue for me. How long do you suggest i would stay in mumbai to get some bollywood work?
