Hello,
I'm going to LA for the first time! Flying down for 5 days over the upcoming April 1st weekend. I was wondering which are some of the best websites to tell me which live shows for bands which are playing and where this weekend. I want to see some local indi-rock, punk or electro groups. Just want to see the best small venue event this weekend. I'm sure that every weekend starting now right through summer is packed and its hard to choose. Steve Aoki I see is playing, this is probably a massive show since its at Hollywood Palladium (excuse my dumbness, but no idea what or how big this is).
Also, I am lucky to be staying at this beach boutique hotel in Mahattan Beach for the first 3 nights. I don't really have much cash to spend (that place is being paid for by my girls company) and I would really like to find some supa-cheap; either hostel or dive rock n' roll Jim Morrison bottom of the bottle hotel on Sunset strip type place. Keep it real for the last couple nights.
Any tips from the LA massive is very much appreciated.
